As Sr. Brand Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for our Client’s brand, voice and thought leadership platform with expectations to quickly entrench yourself with the necessary mobile industry knowledge.
We’re looking for a creative and highly polished Brand Marketing Manager to contribute to our content creation of articles, presentations, blog postings, industry columns, newsletters, email communications, press relations, marketing programs and social media management. The Brand Marketing Manager has previous experience and published work in the mobile or related experience in the high tech B2B industry.
This is a position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment, pays strict attention to detail, mobile-savvy, is quick to take initiative and can synthesize complexity into simple story telling.
Spanning a wide range of activities, the Sr. Brand Marketing Manager will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
Manage messaging and content development for product material, webcasts, speaking events, and other internal and external communications.- Work with corporate marketing to develop sales tools such as case studies, data sheets, sales presentations, demos and more. – Create and copy-edit marketing materials to align brand voice and personality with marketing campaigns, creative briefs, emails and other communications. – Conduct customer interviews and craft use cases, testimonials and customer success stories. – Provide effective sales enablement through tools, training, demos and market expertise to effectively position and sell. – Daily research and analysis of the entire mobile ecosystem with emphasis on mobile app marketing, metrics and trends while actively updating the team and reporting on insights. – Gather and analyze data to develop industry benchmarks and industry studies leveraging Company’s data and/or 3rd party research sources. – Produce reports and content leveraging market trends and our internal database in order to support our thought leadership initiatives and content production.- Develop and maintain consistent product messaging. This includes definition of target audiences, business needs, benefits provided and desired results. Ensure that product descriptions and messages are used consistently by all external-facing organizations. – Work closely with our PR agency and marketing team to ensure our message is effectively communicated to all thought leaders and decision makers.- Support the sales team and oversee product launch/rollout activities to ensure all marketing communication assets and sales tools are completed in a timely and quality manner. – Work with corporate marketing to promote products within the targeted market segments to generate awareness and demand.
Be a source of expertise on competitive offerings – help gather, research and disseminate competitive information and positions across the organization.- Act as marketing liaison for San Francisco office and the central marketing team in Boston. Aiding in event management, logistics and other marketing coordination when necessary.
Outstanding creative writing and copy-editing skills
Strong email and in-person communication skills
3 years post college of journalist/editor/PR specialist/brand manager /product marketing/marketing communications experience
Experience with B2B brand messaging, web content creation, email marketing, whitepapers, technical research and blogging
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Demonstrated success in working in a team-based, collaborative environment
Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced organization Excellent written and verbal communication skills: negotiating, persuading, public speaking and listening
Strong organizational skills
Experience with blogging platforms and basic HTML
BA in Journalism, business or marketing
