Senior Account Executive, Advertiser Sales
We are a performance based media agency located on Long Island, NY about 40-55 minutes from NYC. Founded in late 2015 by internet marketing professionals with 25+ years of combined experience.
As a Senior Account Executive, Advertiser Sales – you’ll be a self motivated, results-driven individual. You should have a minimum, 3 years digital ad sales experience with at least 2+ years of selling to direct response digital advertisers. Your primary responsibility is to prospect new advertisers to drive and grow new business within our owned and operated properties, as well as our affiliate network.
Experience working with email marketing, social and native display marketing is a plus. A candidate with an extensive existing client base with excellent relationships is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Prospecting for new business, and pipeline prioritization.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and monthly/quarterly revenue goals.
- Develop and adhere to a sales plan around the acquisition of new clients.
- Sell to multiple levels of an organization, with strong emphasis on executive level relationships.
- Work with potential advertisers to negotiate IOs and complete credit apps.
- Work directly with demand team to ensure campaigns are properly being set up and trafficked.
- Actively consult with Advertisers on business solutions that exceed revenue objectives through the recommendation and implementation of unique, successful marketing programs.
- Track and record client data, relevant business metrics, pipeline opportunities, and ongoing communication.
- Keep abreast of products, industry pricing, competitive trends in email, display, mobile, and digital sales industries.
- Travel to industry trade shows and client meetings as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be a “hunter” and “data-junkie”
- Comfortable and proficient with the entire sales cycle from prospecting, face to face meetings, pitching and contract negotiations.
- Strong sales & account management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Proven track record meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Experience managing campaigns on CPM, CPA, CPC and CPL models. Knowledge of all forms of online lead generation programs, including: email, PPC, display, CPA and other online media opportunities.
- Must be independent, analytical, takes initiative, enthusiastic, professional and open minded.
- Existing book of contacts containing executive and decision maker level contacts.
- In depth understanding of digital media and consumer behavior
- Possess superb organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
