Performance Media Buyer
Focus of the position:
- Generate profit for and increase diversification of the company’s performance channels. Create new revenue streams via creating, managing and optimizing paid ads on Facebook, Instagram, Google, Native, Mobile RTB, Search and/or Email channels to realize the maximum profit targets set by Performance Marketing Director.
- Ad creation, copywriting, audience testing, funnel testing implementation and optimization
- Manage bidding and budgeting to hit and maintain ROAS goals. Compile reporting on KPIs when required.
- Implement online/interactive media plans to meet strategic goals.
- Negotiate with /interactive/web properties to ensure the most cost-effective buys and most efficient placements.
- Report daily/weekly to managing partners for ad spend and roll out strategies for growth.
- Build a network of online media contacts to utilize as information and research resources.

Key Tasks:
- Responsible for building multiple, steady revenue streams from user-acquisition channels across social, web and mobile.
- Assume full ownership of multiple acquisition campaigns simultaneously from start to finish: including offer selection, strategy, agreed upon testing priorities and deadlines, implementation, analysis & feedback within agreed upon timeline. Responsible for daily reporting and monitoring of campaigns necessary to ensure performance goals and revenue objectives are met within the negotiated terms, and critical information is shared proactively with pertinent team members.
- Collaborate with in-house and external design teams to create effective creative for campaigns, as well as routine analysis and alignment with business development teams to collaborate on new campaigns to pursue and how to maximize sustainable profit from current client roster.
- Manage your monthly budget and provide performance reports to manager, and to be submitted to finance for team’s monthly P&L’s.
- Explore and test new acquisition marketing channels, not to exceed more than 75% of profit from 1 traffic source.
- Develop and implement consistent A/B testing programs to improve ROI, and to ensure diversification of creative execution & vertical portfolio
Desired Skills & Experience
- BS/BA degree in engineering, computer programming, statistics, economics, internet marketing, design, or another relevant field, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of proven, interactive media buying experience either as a performance marketer, on a performance marketing team within an agency, traffic network, RTB trading desk or in-house team on the client side for either an online lead generation company or eCommerce, with relevant experience with a media-buying platform (RTB like AppNexus, Adwords, RevContent, Taboola, Google DoubleClick, Instagram& Facebook).
- Understanding of programmatic and retargeting systems.
- Excellent written and verbal negotiation and communication.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills evaluating complex data and market research.
- Knowledge of ad server and performance management platforms preferred.
- Keywords: performance marketing, media planning ad-networks, RTB Media Buying, PPC, Mobile Advertising, Native Advertising, Social, Search, Display, Video, Email, and SEM.
- Possess analytical skills and is an expert at analyzing data metrics like ROI. Comfortable with math; analytics as well as quickly calculating CTR, CPC, CPM, CR, ROI,etc.
- Independent self-starter, extremely proactive and organized.
- Enthusiastic and passionate, highly motivated individual with a serious and goal-oriented work ethic.
- Focused, able to complete a large volume of work quickly.
- Technical-orientated and fluency. Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables preferred.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Ability to set meeting set meeting agendas and communicate meeting outcomes and goals.
- Preferable knowledge in AppsFlyer, Kochava, Cake, HasOffers, Thrive, Voluum, Impact Radius, Marin, or equivalent, Google Analytics, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and/or with a programming background.
- Ideally the candidate is familiar and competent in the following skills; however, training and support from our in-house designer and developer is provided.
- Photoshop- must be comfortable enough to create your own advertising creatives and landing pages
- HTML, CSS- basic understanding of setting up Landing Pages.
