The Director of Email Division is ideal for someone who has a passion for data, entrepreneurship, technology and digital advertising. You will take over and make an immediate impact on an already strong division with a strong foundation. Responsibilities:
Profitably grow our subscriber list and increase revenues from our existing email user base
Manage all aspects of a consumer email program including; engagement, monetization, and optimization.
Manage all reporting and data for this division; set up appropriate data/tracking, identify KPI’s and interpret KPI’s to lead to optimized experiences and monetization
Manage our ESP to optimize the delivery of our content to subscribers.
Build and optimize landing pages and the user acquisition/registration funnel by working with developers and operations teams
Responsible for operations and growth of our related website; optimizing content, experience and monetization.
Work with marketing team to create the best user acquisition strategies and funnels.
Come up with new features for users, maximize subscriber experience and monetization.
Monitor and increase all vitals of email deliverability
Monthly reporting updates to executive team and company
Required Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of email marketing, ESP’s and best practices for email deliverability
Experience managing operations for digital products; including making product optimizations, running A/B tests, etc.
Strong product management experience working with multiple parties and internal departments
Obsessed with data and using it to make optimizations
Strong knowledge of the best performing advertising methods, co-registration, emerging trends, and content marketing
Experience working with analytics platforms and data visualizers
Entrepreneurial attitude and team player
Basic HTML knowledge
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:
Experience leading a division and/or team
Knowledge of other messaging methods such as push notifications, Facebook Messenger, etc.
Experience with Google Analytics or other data platform.
Excellent knowledge of Excel
Knowledge of SQL
