The Affiliate Manager’s role is to help build and maintain Company’s Affiliate Network. This position is responsible for both helping optimize the success of an existing portfolio of affiliates and sourcing new affiliates to the network, all with the goal of scaling the growth and market presence.
Responsibilities
• Daily Affiliate Management – Work with Publisher Partners to optimize delivery and campaign performance.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance and brand safety with publishers on an ongoing basis
• Analyze Publisher statistics on a daily basis and to maximize revenue, identify opps, optimize and troubleshoot issues
• Build and manage strong client relationships
• Develop new partnerships and publisher relationships
• Meet with partners and attend conferences regularly
• Implement initiatives that enhance affiliate productivity, create new growth opportunities and increase ROI
• Manage affiliate relations, communication and recruitment
• Strong sales, negotiation, analytical and implementation skills
• Ability to understand and verbalize technical language involved in affiliate implementation
• Prioritize execution strategy based on revenue potential
• Strategize, plan, execute and optimize email, social, mobile and display campaigns
Required Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree in Advertising, Business, Marketing or Communications
• 2 + years prior experience in Media or Affiliate Marketing
• Proven ability to multi-task, deliver exceptional results
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (outgoing, well-spoken, professional, friendly and courteous)
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet browsers)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Results and goal oriented approach
• Expertise in many forms of internet media and marketing, with knowledge of email marketing
• Must have established contacts with publishers and media networks
• Must possess an understanding of media metrics, campaign tracking and optimization
• Proactive work ethic, ability to work in a fast paced, competitive, and collaborative environment
