Los Angeles-based company recommends sponsored content and products across our worldwide network of publishers. Our publishers monetize their content, reaching a large millennial audience, to promote more user engagement. We help our advertiser partners with audience development and acquisition services as well as product promotion within our native environment.
We are currently looking for an inside Advertising Sales executive for our Santa Monica office who would be in charge of bringing in new clients whose campaigns will run across our Native Advertising platform.
Responsibilities:
Manage all facets of the sales cycle, including: prospecting for new clients, negotiating, following up, writing up contracts, gathering all appropriate campaign details, and closing deals that are in-line with the company’s goals and capabilities
Ability to track sales pipeline as well as to accurately forecast new business.
Must be able to coordinate with various teams (account management, financial, sales, support, etc) through whatever medium that is available (Skype, email, phone, etc).
Provide detailed and enthusiastic pre- and post-sale customer support, gathering all information needed to coordinate with our account managers to launch a successful campaign
Work with our team of sales and account managers to consistently achieve and exceed both revenue and account acquisition goals, as well as to identify emerging trends in the marketplace.
Requirements:
Amazing written and verbal skills.

1-3 years of proven successful track record of digital sales to various types of advertising clients, especially dealing with digital media buyers, affiliates, and user acquisition managers.
Deep understanding of the digital landscape including: PPC, CPI, CPC, Display, Email, SEO, Mobile and Social Media.
Self-motivated, positive, and the ability to work with remote office associates to reach the same goal.
Tech savvy with proficiency in Google Apps, Skype, Gmail, LinkedIn, and Social Media.
Consulting sales approach with the ability to figure out prospect needs and provide a thoughtful campaign solution in order to close them.
Keep up and learn within a fast-paced environment that is constantly changing and growing.
Passion for digital media, new trends, and a collaborative startup environment.
Relevant college degree or equivalent in digital sales experience preferred.
Organized, diligent, tactful and a team player.
Rolodex of contacts in digital publishing environment is a substantial plus.
Experience with Native Advertising a definite plus!
